Dr Hitesh Aggarwal Dermatologist

Medical disclaimer

This website publishes general medical information. It is written carefully, but it is not a substitute for being examined.

Last updated: 17 October 2026

General information, not personal advice

Everything published here — condition pages, treatment descriptions, diet charts and answers to common questions — is general education. It describes how conditions usually behave and what treatments usually involve. It does not describe your case.

Skin and hair conditions that look similar are often different conditions, and the same condition behaves differently in different people. Nothing on this site should be used to diagnose yourself, to decide on a treatment, or to delay seeing a doctor.

No doctor–patient relationship

Reading this website does not create a doctor–patient relationship with Dr Hitesh Aggarwal or with the clinics. That relationship begins only when you book and attend a consultation, in person or online.

Outcomes vary

No result is guaranteed. Response to treatment depends on the diagnosis, the severity, how long the condition has been present, other medical conditions, other medicines, and how consistently treatment is followed. Where a page describes a typical timeframe or a typical degree of improvement, that is an average across patients and not a promise to you.

Patient reviews quoted on this site describe individual experiences. They are not a prediction of your outcome.

Medicines and procedures

Where this site names a medicine, it is describing treatments used in dermatology — not recommending that you take it. Prescription medicines should only be taken on the advice of a doctor who knows your history, and several of the medicines described carry important restrictions, including in pregnancy.

Do not start, stop or change a prescribed medicine on the basis of anything read here.

When to seek care urgently

Do not rely on this website if you have a rash that is spreading rapidly, blistering, or accompanied by fever; a severe allergic reaction; a mole or growth that is changing; or any skin problem alongside feeling systemically unwell. Those need to be seen promptly and in person.

Review and accuracy

Clinical pages carry the date they were last reviewed. Medical understanding changes, and a page may not reflect the most recent evidence between reviews. If you believe something here is inaccurate, please write to info@drhiteshaggarwal.com — corrections are welcome.
