Dr Hitesh Aggarwal

Dermatologist · MBBS, DDVL · Delhi Medical Council Reg. 57994

A doctor since 2012 and a dermatologist since 2017. Most of the practice is medical dermatology — conditions that have already been treated once or twice without a clear diagnosis.

Training

He completed his MBBS at J.J.M. Medical College, Davangere, clearing every phase at the first attempt, followed by a rotating internship across general medicine, surgery, paediatrics, obstetrics and community medicine.

He returned to J.J.M. for postgraduate training in Dermatology, Venereology and Leprology, again passing at the first attempt. The dermatology department there runs four units within a 2,900-bed teaching hospital, with dedicated cosmetology and dermatosurgery clinics alongside general dermatology.

He managed inpatient wards as well as outpatient clinics — which means training on severe and complicated disease, not only routine skin care. Aesthetic clinics rarely see the inpatient side of dermatology at all.

How he works

Most patients arrive having already tried something that did not work — often several things. The first job is establishing what the problem actually is, which sometimes means revisiting a previous diagnosis. The second is explaining it clearly enough that the treatment makes sense and gets followed.

Where a treatment carries real risks — isotretinoin, anti-androgens, long-term steroid use — those are discussed before it starts rather than after. There is a page on exactly that for hair loss medication.

Second opinions make up a large part of the practice. More on how those are approached.

Teaching

He taught medical students and internees during his postgraduate training, and continues to run facial aesthetics workshops for practising doctors. Details for doctors.

Where he practises

Two clinics in Delhi — Narela in the morning and Rohini in the evening — and online consultations for patients anywhere in India.

Across the two clinics, 655 Google reviews at an average of 4.9.
