Consult online, from anywhere in India
A video consultation with the same approach as the clinic. Conducted under India's Telemedicine Practice Guidelines — identity verification and recorded consent are part of the booking.
How it works
Step 1
Book a slot
Pick a time, confirm your identity and consent, and pay the fee. You get a confirmation on WhatsApp.
Step 2
Send photographs
Clear photos of the affected area in daylight, plus any reports and the names of creams or tablets already used.
Step 3
The consultation
15–20 minutes on video. History, examination of what can be seen, the likely diagnosis, and what it is not.
Step 4
Plan and prescription
A written plan and a digital prescription for what the telemedicine rules permit, with a review date.
Works well online
Needs an in-person visit
- — Anything needing dermoscopy, a KOH mount or a biopsy
- — A mole or growth that is changing
- — Procedures, injections and minor surgery
- — Widespread or rapidly worsening disease
- — Any case where photographs leave real doubt
If your problem falls here, you'll be told at the start and the consultation fee will not be taken.
Prescriptions
Online consultations in India follow the national Telemedicine Practice Guidelines. Some medicines can be prescribed after a video consultation and some cannot, and that is not a matter of preference.
Where a medicine carries meaningful risks — isotretinoin for acne, or anti-androgens for hair loss — you will be taken through those risks before anything is prescribed, and given a written record of that discussion. Full telemedicine consent terms.
Before your call
- Photographs in natural daylight, not under a bulb, without a filter
- One wide photo and one close-up of each affected area
- A list of everything you are applying or taking, including supplements and anything bought without a prescription
- Any previous prescriptions or test reports
- A quiet, private spot with a stable connection
A note on what video can and cannot do
A remote consultation is a weaker diagnostic setting than a clinic — dermoscopy, a KOH mount and a biopsy cannot be done over video. What it can do is take a full history, assess what is visible, and tell you honestly which of the two situations you are in.
Sometimes the right answer is a test done locally and sent back. Sometimes it is that this needs someone to look at it in person. Either way you will be told during the call rather than afterwards.
